Hyatt Credit Card Review

Similar to other Hotel Credit Cards, the Chase Hyatt Credit Card offers benefits specifically tailored to staying the Hyatt chain of hotels.  At its heart this is a rewards credit card - it provides points for spending money at restaurants, on airline tickets, and other purchases - but most importantly, it provides 3x points for money spent at Hyatt hotels.

In addition to the added points for spending at Hyatt hotels, you gain a number of other perks around staying at Hyatts around the world.  These include accelerated Diamond membership (which can get you access to lounges, later checkout, and free upgrades), free nights at their hotels, and other nice amenities like turndown service and free internet.

The card is also a travel card, providing smart chip technology and no foreign transaction fees.  Ultimately, like with all of the other hotel cards, this card comes with a $75 annual fee and has very specific benefits.  If you travel regularly, and like staying in Hyatt hotels, this card will get you free stays, upgrades, and amenities, while also racking up points for hotels and restaurants.  If you don't travel a lot, or don't like staying in Hyatt hotels, we'd recommend a more flexible credit card like the Chase Freedom Visa.
